Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, may be traveling to India this weekend to finalize arrangements for his large-scale electric vehicle investment, but it also appears that he may be considering business options for his space exploration companies, SpaceX and Starlink.

Musk, who lands in India on April 21, will meet at Bharat Mandapam on April 22 with the creators of innovative Indian spacetech firms and businesses.

In addition to spacetech heavyweights from Hyderabad like Skyroot Aerospace and Dhruva Space, he will meet startups from Bengaluru like Pixxel, Digantara, and SatSure, as well as AgniKul Cosmos and GalaxEye Space from Chennai.

PM Narendra Modi is expected to attend the Musk meeting, which is being invited to companies that manufacture vital systems and subsystems for the space sector, like Ananth Technologies and Astra Microwave from Hyderabad, as well as Astrome Technologies and Centum Electronics from Bengaluru, according to sources.

It has been learned that the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (InSpace), an independent organization under the Department of Space, has invited the senior executives of these commercial spacetech companies to present their innovations and goods to the American entrepreneur.

Musk has extended an invitation for us to present Indian space industry capabilities. We're going to set up a display. The PM may also take part, we've been informed," stated the spacetech company's founder.
